Obituary

Alyce Olivia Kincaide, 86, was born on July 30, 1939, in Philadelphia to Lars and Mary Hermanson. She passed from this life surrounded by the love of her family on February 12, 2026.

During her childhood, Alyce and her family moved frequently due to her father's work. She graduated in 1958 from East Central High School in Tulsa and attended Northeastern State University for one year.

On August 31, 1963, Alyce married the love of her life, Kenneth Cleo Kincaide. Together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and community, and were blessed with two children, Jimmy and Keeley.

Alyce worked faithfully for several businesses as a secretary and later spent many years serving as a substitute teacher at the high school. Though she held various positions throughout her life, she considered her most important and cherished role to be that of a stay-at-home wife and mother.

A devoted member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Alyce's faith was the foundation of her life. She also spent countless hours cheering on her Yale Bulldogs, it was rare not to find her in the stands or a lawn chair at the games, while her husband Ken was filming them. She was also a proud member of Xi Delta Pi sorority and dedicated many years to the Angel Tree ministry, helping ensure that children in the community experience the joy of Christmas.

Alyce leaves behind her loving daughter, Keeley of Yale; her grandchildren, Brandon Kincaide and fiancée Brittany, Taylor Neuway and husband James, Mason Moore and wife Brooklyn; and Dylan Kincaide; as well as her treasured great-grandchildren, Brentley, Barrett, Kennedy, Amelia, Reed, and Bennett. She is also survived by her brother, Lars Hermanson and wife Kathy of Bartlesville; and brother Carl Hermanson of Glens Falls, New York. And daughter-in-law Stacy Kincaide Along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ken; her parents, Lars and Mary Hermanson; her son, Jimmy; and her grandson, Cody.

Alyce will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her servant's heart, and her deep love for her family. Her legacy of devotion, kindness, and community spirit will continue to live on in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
