Barbara Edith (Evans) Bean was born in Ramgate Kent, England on June 20, 1934, to parents Lawrence and Esther Mary (Stickels) Evans.  Barbara passed from this life on December 2, 2023, in Mesa, Arizona.

Even at a young age, Barbara had a zest for life.  She was outgoing and loved to talk to anyone.  Being born in England and living there for years, she gained an English accent but never lost it although she moved to the United States.  She was compassionate for others in need, having a golden heart handing out bibles to people so they could find the Lord.  Jesus and her service toward her God was her number one love, having never lost her faith.

Barbara also loved to paint, she also enjoyed collecting sports cards and Beanie Babies.  One of her hobbies, which she dearly loved, was to write and sing worship songs while playing her keyboard.  Barbara will be greatly missed but always remembered for the love she had for her family and her Savior.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ken and Bob Evans, Christopher Zaferis and Jerome Fiore.

She is survived by her siblings Steven Zaferis, Mark Zaferis, Sandra Zaferis, Diamond Zaferis and Joseph Zaferis; her grandchildren, Demetrious, Alexis, Michael, Sandra, Donnie, Josh, Brandon, Chris, Sara, Rachel, Deserie, Obadiah, Luke, Amber, Ace, Jessica, Joseph, Clayton and Brooke along with 34 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery.
