Barbara Jean Luker of Yale, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Westhaven Nursing Home, Stillwater, Ok.  Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2020 at Underwood Cemetery, Yale, OK.    Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of  Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, OK.

Barbara was born on July 28, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Robert Earl and Boneta Frances (Cassaw) Clawson.  She grew up in Wewoka, graduating from Wewoka in 1972.  Barbara began college at St. Gregory's but due to health problems couldn't finish.   She lived in numerous places, California, Texas and Arizona before moving to Yale to live near her brother and family.   Barbara was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Yale.  Her son Robert is her greatest joy.  She enjoyed reading, traveling to Missouri with family, and playing Bingo.  Due to health issues, Barbara moved to Westhaven Nursing Home a few years ago.

Barbara is survived by her son Robert Wayne Taylor of Stillwater, brother Robert Clawson and wife Dollie of Yale and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to the Fellowship Baptist Church - Building Fund, Yale, OK.
