Betty Jean Smith passed from this life on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the age of 86.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Lawson Cemetery Pavilion.

Betty was born on September 6, 1937, to Levi and Ina Gloria (Bartlett) Ross at their home in Yale, OK.  She grew up and attended school at Yale.  After finishing school, Betty fell in love and married Troy Smith.

She had many loves in her life, from scrap booking and thrift shopping, but her true love was her family.

She was a loving and caring woman and will be missed.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Smith; parents, Levi and Ina Gloria (Bartlett) Ross; six siblings, Wayne Ross, Carl Lee Ross, Eveyln Raper, Gayle Ross, Carol Youtzey, Richard Dean Ross.

Betty is survived by three siblings, Glenda Robinson, Diane Rusco, and Janice Davis.  Betty is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
