Betty Ann Walker entered the arms of Jesus on October 9, 2022, at the age of 85. She was born on May 24, 1937, in Stratford, Oklahoma, to Edwin & Ruth Jane (Howell) Walker.  Betty grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, and then lived in Moore, Oklahoma City and Perkins, Oklahoma.

Betty was a devout Christian and a beloved member of Cimarron Valley Church in Perkins. She enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to Christian music, and worshipping the Lord every day. She spent her life doing things for others and praying over everyone. She loved spending time and praying with her dear friend Cathy Prickett Dawson. She had a beautiful smile and soul that would light up any room she walked into. She was an angel to everyone and always made sure they knew how much our precious Jesus loved them. She touched the lives of so many and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by 2 granddaughters Linsey McGowen, of Norman, and Batista Corbin, of Yukon; 2 great grandchildren, Kross Mcgowen and Reeve Corbin, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving friends such as Cathy Prickett Dawson. Betty is preceded in death by her daughter Dianna Carroll Troutt, her parents, Edwin & Ruth Jane Walker; 6 brothers, Samuel, James, Joe, Woodrow, Benny and Ed; and 3 sisters, Junita, Maxine and Lavinia.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
