Betty Fay Wright, age 84 of Cushing, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Cushing, Oklahoma.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. Crescent Cemetery, Crescent, Oklahoma.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Betty was born on November 10, 1937 in Crescent, Oklahoma to the late M. H. and Ruth (Pickens) Kyle.  She grew up in Crescent, graduating from Crescent High School in 1948.  Betty married the love of her life Merle Dean Wright on December 30, 1983 in Edmond, Oklahoma at Merle's sisters home.  They lived in Crescent then moved to Cushing in 1980.  She loved taking care of her husband and her family.  They were members of the New Hope Fellowship Church.

Betty is survived by her daughters Linda Ott of Cushing and Renea Estell and Bobby Russell of Cushing, son  Steve Estell and wife Lisa of California, brother Wilbur Kyle of Midwest City, grandchildren Crystal Lahmeyer and Matt, Joanna Mills, great grandchildren Jewelia, Olivia and Victoria Lahmeyer, Corbin Mills, Misty Estell and Claudia Mireles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Merle Wright, son Allen Estell, brothers  Wilbur Kyle, Wayne Kyle and Dean Kyle, sister Bessie Kyle.
