Billy Don Freeman, a longtime resident of Oilton, Oklahoma passed away on December 7, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74.
Bill was born on January 5, 1947 in Dibble, OK to Carl T. Freeman and Jackie O. Freeman (Haynes).
Bill grew up in Dibble, OK, where he met his wife Nadine Freeman (Lile). They married on March 27, 1970 and shortly after moved to Oilton, OK, where they raised their family, 3 sons and 1 daughter: Kenneth, Russell, Todd, and Chambra. Bill was given an honorable discharge from the United States Army National Guard on June 7, 1971. Bill was a welder for Turnbow Trailers for 42+ years before a short stem working for the City of Oilton.
Bill is preceded in death by his father, Carl T. Freeman, mother, Jackie Freeman, brother, Junior Freeman, sister, Eva Jean Freeman, brother, Joe Freeman, sons, Kenneth Dale Freeman and Russell Gene Freeman, grandson, Austin Reid Buntin.
Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nadine Freeman of Oilton, OK; son Todd Freeman and wife, Donna of Drumright, OK; daughter, Chambra Buntin and husband, Randy of Mounds, OK; grandchildren, Trenton Buntin, Jarrett Buntin, Adriane Lasiter and husband, Codey, Kirbi Hixson and husband, Dylan, Whitlee Freeman, Hidi Deshazer and husband, Nick, Chelsea Freeman, Kendra Freeman, Jason Freeman, Jessica Freeman, and Duane Freeman; great grandchildren, Addi Hixson, Remmington Hixson, Connor Freeman, Skylar Deshazer, and Riley Freeman. Bill was also survived by numerous other relatives and endless friends, as well as his brotherly and sisterly neighbors Ken and Martha Graham, and last but not least, his 2 beloved pups, Spudz and Molly.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Oilton First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Oilton.
