Obituary

Billy Jack Vickers passed from this earth on April 1, 2019 to join his wife Ellen Vickers who passed away on November 10, 2018.

He was born on May 3, 1959 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Pearl J. Vickers and Delories K. (Betts) Vickers.  Billy attended elementary school at Maramec and graduated from Pawnee High School.  He then went to Career Tech in Okmulgee, OK to be a Chef.  After finishing tech school, he went to work for OSU as a chef.  He was a member of the Assembly of God church in Yale and was an active leader of the Royal Rangers, which he and Ellen dearly loved.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Linda Vickers, of Tryon and current wife, Ellen Vickers of Yale; two sisters, Pearline Anderson and Rena Fay Vickers and two brothers Robert Vickers and Pete Vickers.  He is survived by one brother, Joe Vickers of Maramec; two nieces, Rita Williams and family of Stillwater, and Susie McAlister and family of Masham, one nephew, Rex Anderson and family of Shawnee.  Bill is also survived by two step sons, Gino Covello of Milford, CT and Sal Covello of Danburg, CT.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27 th , 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Yale Assembly of God.
