Bobby Leon Clark of Lorena, TX passed from this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at his home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton, Oklahoma.
Bob was born on December 12, 1941 in Oilton, Oklahoma. He graduated from Yale High School in 1960. Bob married his beloved wife of 56 years, Sharon Earlene DeWeese on May 17, 1963. He was drafted to the army on January 24, 1966. He was sent to Fort Polk, Louisiana to attend boot camp. He served at Fort Bliss, Texas and in Germany. While in the army he drove for a Master Sergeant, was trained to work with Hawk Missiles, and worked as an army marksman. Bob was mustered out December 19, 1967. After leaving the service Bob dedicated 30 years to Phillips Pipeline in Oklahoma and Texas.
Bob was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was a father figure to many young people over the years. He was known as family man who enjoyed fishing with his son and grandson, watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren compete in sports, and being outside with his dogs. He never missed watching a sporting event if he could help it. Bob loved Country and Western music and WWE Monday night Wrestling. In 2017 Bob accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, James Arthur and Nettie Angel Clark, his three older sisters, Virginia Lockery, Willa Mae Spradlin-Lockery, and LaWanda Pollard, his brothers Kenneth Clark and James Riley Clark (Pode).
Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon, his daughter Melissa and friend Leonard Johnson, and his son Bobby & wife Andrea Clark all of Waco, Tx. He was blessed with granddaughters and a grandson, Alexia, Hannah, Karly, and Landry Clark all of Waco and Jacob Clark and fiance' Tamarra Webb of Midland, Tx. Bob had four great grandchildren, Jayveon, Khloe, Kaidance, and Kalani. His nieces and nephews, Janetta Clark of Bristow, Ok, Marilyn Lovelace of Mannford, Ok, and Gale Hamilton of Crescent, Ok., Rodney Clark, and Greg Clark both from Corpus Christi, Tx. His great nephews, Kelly and wife Angie Spradlin of Mannford,OK, Kevin and Karen Spradlin of Burke, VA and their daughters Jayden and Makayla.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton, Oklahoma.
Graveside Services will follow visitation at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Highland Cemetery Pavilion, Oilton, Oklahoma.
