Obituary

Bonnie Louise Allie, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 with her family by her side in Tulsa at the age of 93.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A private family service will be held at at later date.

Bonnie Louise (Palm) Allie was born on July 29, 1930 in Mount Pleasant Iowa to Irvin Luther Palm and Helen Gertrude (Shelton) Palm.

She grew up on the family farm and moved to Winfield Iowa as a teenager, where she graduated high school on May 20, 1948 from the Winfield Iowa Consolidated Schools.

While there she played clarinet in the band, participated in numerous theatricals and sang in many of the school's vocal groups, usually scoring a 1 at every contest.  She became well known for her singing throughout her lifetime.

After high school, she moved to Laurens, Iowa, working at Twindraulic as a secretary where she met her husband Gerald D. Allie.

Born to this marriage were three children, Jayn Ann (Allie) Carson wife of Doug Carson, and twins Jon Edward Allie husband of Evguenia (Mateeva) Allie and Jean Louise (Allie) Wojtkiewicz wife of Daniel Wojtkiewicz.  Also surviving her are 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was a resident of Covenant Living at Inverness in Tulsa at the time of her death.

Interment will be in the Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha Nebraska.
