Bryan Shelby Newton, 48, of Glencoe, Oklahoma, gained his wings on Friday, January 19, 2024.  He was born on December 17, 1975, to Peggy and Don Newton on Glencoe, Oklahoma.  He passed away with his family by his side after a long battle with diabetes.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob Morris, Donald Newton Sr., and Betty Jean Newton; step-grandmother, Babe Morris; and step-grandfather, Prince Hixson.

He is survived by his daughters Courtney Newton of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Gracie Newton of Baldknob, Arkansas; step-daughter Baylee Jones of Baldknob, Arkansas; parents, Don and Peggy Newton of Glencoe, Oklahoma; sister, Lisa Lewis and husband Troy of Glencoe, Oklahoma; and nephew, Jacob Lewis of Glencoe, Oklahoma.

A visitation will be held from 4PM - 7PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Palmar Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.  Funeral services for Bryan will be at 2PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Glencoe United Methodist Church at 103 S Perry in Glencoe, Oklahoma.  Interment will follow at Lawson Cemetery in Yale, Oklahoma.  Pastor Jeff Kuhn will be officiating.  Pallbearers will be Lisa Lewis, Courtney Newton, Rachel Rasco, Kym Cude, Shelley Woodall, and Becky Pope.  Honorary pallbearers will be Erin White, Holly Hannon, Elizabeth Kelley, Krissy Watkins and Dani Myers.
