Carl Lee Harvath, age 87 of Ft. Worth, TX. formerly of Cushing, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in Ft. Worth, TX.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m., June 8, 2019 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel.

Carl was born on April 23, 1932 to John and Pearl (Lazarus) Harvath in Affinity, West Virginia. He grew up and graduated Stoco High School in West Virginia. After finishing high school, Carl joined the United States Army. He served his country proudly for 3 years before being honorably discharged. Carl moved to Michigan and attended Wayne State University. He earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and began working for Allied and later Koch.

Carl met and fell in love with Mary Ann DeClark. They married on October 12, 1957. They had five loving children together: Cynthia Lee, Larry, Kenneth, Cheryl, and Jeffrey. Carl was loving father and made sure his children were well taken care of. Carl was an honest man, and at times, could be too honest. When Carl had free time, you could always find him out on the golf courses all over Oklahoma and Texas.

Carl will be missed by all who knew him.

Carl is survived by his children, Cynthia Lee of Sterling Heights, MI, Larry Harvath of Glendale, AZ, Kenneth Harvath of Washington Township, MI, Jeffrey Harvath of Ft. Worth, TX; one sister, Jean DeClark of Roseville, MI. Carl is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Carl is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann, both parents, one daughter Cheryl Ledbetter.
