Carol Ann Ross, longtime Yale resident, passed from this life on Friday, November 1, 2019 in Stillwater, OK.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Yale.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the Crossroads Community Church, 52787 W. Highway 51, Jennings, OK 74038.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Carol was born on July 6, 1937 to Charles Maynard and Lydia Violet (Barron) Skinner in Sand Springs, OK.  She grew up in the Yale area and attended school at Norfolk.  After high school, Carol married Bob Dougherty.  Later Carol married Wayne Ross.  Together they worked at a DX station and she was very active in the business.  In her free time, Carol could be found at her house listening to her favorite music or chatting with friends or family.

Carol is survived by her brother, Sam Skinner and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Maynard and Lydia Violet Skinner; two husbands, Bob Dougherty, and Wayne Ross; two brothers, Connie Skinner and Bill Skinner; two sisters, Mary Doty and June Kadura; one stepson, Kenneth Ross.
