Carolyn Faye Allison passed from this life on October 19, 2022 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OK.

Carolyn was born on April 21, 1943, to parents Walter and Wilma (Simkosky) Fuqua.  She was a twin to her sister Marilyn and one of nine children.  She graduated from Parma High School and soon after married Perry Howard.  To their union was born their two children, Mike and Sue.

Carolyn absolutely loved to cook and bake.  It showed in her delicious creations! Her pies, especially, were world famous-at least in her family's eyes. In the 1970s, Carolyn and Perry owned a restaurant in Agra, OK.  The kids recounted how she kept a tab for the younger kids that would drop in needing something to eat before ball practice or a game. She always made sure to have a hot meal ready for anyone who was hungry. She would never let them go without.

In 1977, Carolyn's husband Perry was tragically taken in a car accident.  This was a heavy time in Carolyn's life, but her family and the love she had for them helped guide her through.  Years later, she married Ray Allison and continued her life in joy.  Carolyn centered her life around her family and her baking.  She loved to cook with her grandchildren.  She also cooked for the Senior Citizens Center in Agra.  She absolutely loved baking and gifting her "Special Christmas Cookies!" When she wasn't baking, she was the bookkeeper at R&C Tire Shop while Ray and Mike ran the business.

Carolyn is survived by her two children, Mike Howard and wife Deneen, and Carolyn "Sue" Bickell and husband Tom.  Her siblings Eugene Fuqua, Elsie Eskew and husband Wayne, Jim Fuqua and wife Rexina, Linda Fuqua, Sharlene Nickel, and Karen Browning.  Her grandchildren Tommy Trott and wife Jamie, Justin Dunlap and wife Brandy, Brian Bickell and wife Ashley, Amy Wilson and husband Justin, Clayton Howard, and great-grandson Fisher Dean Wilson.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Perry Howard and Ray Allison, sister Agnes Collins, and twin sister Marilyn Stevens.

A funeral service will be held for Carolyn at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Agra, OK.  Interment will be at Parkland Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
