After a long battle with cancer, Carolyn Marie Gosnell Hubble, 78, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at her daughter's home in Cushing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born January 8, 1941, to Hurshell W. Gosnell and Lela Isenberg Gosnell of Cushing, OK. Her family later moved to Colorado where she grew up and attended school in Cortez. There she met her future husband, Alfred Hubble. They were married on August 21, 1958, and had four loving children: Shawn, Janice, Kimberly, and Kevin.

She worked as a dental assistant in Cushing, Stroud, and Treasure Island, California, but her most influential and important role was that of mother. Her examples of kindness and strength blessed many lives, especially her children.

Carolyn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many church positions during her lifetime and, along with Alfred in 2006, served an 18-month mission to Ukraine. Some of her hobbies included dancing, quilting, being outdoors, and genealogy. She was a wonderful homemaker and cook and fully supported her children in their various church and school activities. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, both parents, one sister, Patricia, and three brothers: Don, Bob, and Billy Gosnell. She is survived by her four children: Shawn Hubble and wife, LeAnn; Janice Fuqua and husband, David; Kimberly Burnett and husband, George; Kevin Hubble and wife, Sherri; as well as sisters Dorsa Martin, and Donna Tanner and husband Leon; and one brother Hurshell Gosnell, Jr. and wife Kathy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cushing. Interment will follow at Parkland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at our funeral home.
