Catheryn "Cathy"
Jane Dugger
February 13, 1955 – August 4, 2021
Catheryn "Cathy" Jane (Kelln) Dugger was born on Feb. 13, 1955 in Shattuck, Oklahoma as the youngest child of Christ Q. Kelln and Betty Lee (Walton) Kelln. She passed away peacefully at her home in Perkins, Oklahoma on August 4, 2021, surrounded by family.
Cathy's young adult years were spent in Shattuck, raising her 4 daughters, Rebecca Rae, Delyn Larue, Katina Lee, and Kellie Ann. This was no easy task at times, but she did it with style, grace, and her strong Christian faith. On March 8, 2001, Cathy married Jim Dugger, who she lovingly referred to as "my Hottie". Jim and Cathy spent their 20 years together traveling, playing golf, and volunteering for local charities. In the Spring of 2020, they fulfilled her dream of designing and building their home in Perkins, OK.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Cathy. She especially loved visits with her daughters and grandchildren as well as quiet evenings at home with a glass of wine in hand. Cathy treasured the time spent with her brothers and friends. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her keen sense of humor and her infectious laugh.
Cathy is preceded in death by her mother, Betty; her father, CQ; stepfather, Sam Barton; first husband, Rodney Lucas; and 2 nephews, Joseph and David Kelln.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Jim Dugger, her children Chance and Becky Suthers, Delyn and Paul Cummings, Katina Knowles, and Kellie Rosas, her 11 grandchildren, Colby Lliff and wife Sierra, Mary Schamburg and husband Austin, Amy Kelln, David Cummings and wife Chelsie, Katelyn Van Vickle and husband Tyler, Samantha Cummings, Abigail Schultz, Cassidy Schultz, Matthew Rosas, Anthony Rosas and Jaidah Rosas. She also leaves 9 great grandchildren, Hayzlee and Brynlee Lliff, Jackson Schamburg, Alexis and Luke Kelln, Reagan and Evelyn Cummings, Parker and Oakley Van Vickle, her 2 brothers, Mark Kelln and wife Mary, John Kelln and wife Debbie, 1 sister, Regina Anguiano and husband Luis, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A family graveside service will be held at Shattuck Cemetery at a later date.
