Charlotte Kay Easley, age 75, of Cushing, Oklahoma, left this world behind for eternity with her Savior on September 23, 2023. She is preceded in her passing by her cherished husband of 45 years, Everett Lee Easley, whom unmistakably welcomed her with open arms. Her eldest son, Darren Lee Easley, also preceded her in death as well as her daughter, Janette Kay Easley. She is now embracing the ones she once mourned.

Charlotte was born October 23, 1947 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, as the fifth of nine children to the late Leo and Essie Hubbard. She enjoyed a tightly knit family whom she cherished until her passing. Charlotte attended Cushing public school and met her soon-to-be husband, Everett, as a young teenager. Everett was a US Navy seaman for six years. The two were married on Charlotte's 18th birthday, October 23, 1965, in Cushing, OK. The couple eventually bore three children: Janette Kay Easley (1966), Darren Lee Easley (1968), and Timothy Paul Easley (1973).

Charlotte invested the strength of her life becoming a thoughtful homemaker and was known for her excellent baking and cooking and welcoming demeanor. She often had a house full of nieces, nephews and neighborhood children during her child-rearing years. She also raised her family alongside her lifelong friend, Alberta Johnson, with the two sharing the triumphs and tragedies of life well beyond the years they spent as neighbors. Charlotte enjoyed a tight-knit family and her siblings referred to her as the glue that held them all together—always wanting to gather together and oftentimes hosting holiday events. She was her happiest when surrounded by her family. Her siblings played a vital role in surrounding her later in life after becoming widowed in the fall of 2011.

Charlotte was a proud Mimi to six grandchildren by way of her youngest son, Timothy, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Her grandkids were the pride and joy of her life and she enjoyed shamelessly doting on them. Each one wholeheartedly believed their Mimi would do anything for them. When Mimi asked for a favor of her own, she'd playfully chase it with, "I'll dance at your weddin'."

Charlotte (and Everett's) beloved grandchildren include Tessa Eiliene Wilson (husband, Devin De'Rae Wilson) of Kansas City, Missouri, Teniel Renee, Taryn Layne, Teague Ezra, Tru Evelyn, and Tate Elliot Easley of Siloam Springs, AR.

Charlotte is also preceded in death by older brothers, Clarence and Larry Hubbard, as well as older sister, Wilma Crawford. She is survived by her sisters Linda Ellis (late husband, Chuck) of Cushing, OK, Patsy Simpson (husband, Wayne) of Agra, OK, Vicki Keith (husband, Rick) of Hennepin, OK, Sharon Yaunt (husband, Tommy) of Cushing, OK, and Chris Hubbard (wife, Lisa) of Agra, OK. She is also survived by her son, Timothy (wife, Tabbitha) and their six children.
