Connie Jean Miller passed from this life on December 10, 2023, at her home in Yale, Oklahoma.  Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Connie was born on May 1, 1952, to Eugene and Dorothy (Davenport) Miller in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.  She grew up and went to school at Barnsdall.  At a young age, Connie learned a trait that would stay with her until the day she passed, that was stubbornness! She was the type of person that would fight for you all day, every day…as long as you stayed on her good side.

Connie had so much love to give that love was extended to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her companion Fred Head and her daily Dr Peppers.  In her younger years, Connie enjoyed travelling anywhere she could, but always enjoyed being at home among her family as well.  Some of the family's fondest memories will be moving her rose bushes from one place in the yard, to another, and then to another.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Edna, companion Fred Head, and her daughters Julie Johnson and Liza Penny.

She is survived by her stepdad, Jim Armstrong; daughter, Victoria Willis; brothers, Randy and Tom; sister, Gena; grandchildren, Trinity Willis, Tyler Willis, Treston Willis, Cody Penny and Nick Penny; great-grandchildren, Sirius, Jorge, Lucas, Molly, Emory, Oliver, Ella, Cecil and Presley who will all miss her greatly.

A visitation will be held for Connie from 4PM – 8PM on Monday, December 18 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.  Funeral services will be at 10AM on Tuesday, December 19 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing, Oklahoma with interment at Lawson Cemetery in Yale, Oklahoma.  Pastor Will Jenkins will be officiating.
