Darlene F. Burch, a longtime Perkins resident, passed peacefully from this life at her home on Thursday, July 22, 2021 surrounded by family.  She was born on January 6, 1945 to parents Johnny and Viola (Blansett) Pruitt in Orlando, Oklahoma.

She grew up and attended school in Orlando, Oklahoma.  Darlene married the love of her life, Eldon Burch on November 16, 1965 in Cushing, Oklahoma.  They raised their children in Perkins.  She stayed at home while her children were going to school then she and Eldon drove a truck for Ranger Trucking.  In 2001, she went to work for the Casino in Perkins for 15 years.  She was a member of the Perkins First United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed her dogs and cats and would feed any animal that came onto the porch.  Darlene was an avid reader and enjoyed working in her yard.

Darlene is survived by her children; Roger and wife Phyllis Burch of Ponca City, OK, Ronnie and wife Sue of Perkins, OK, Vince and Sandra Clark of Cushing, OK, Bobby Hollingshead of Sand Springs and Carmen Burch of Perkins, OK; twin sister Carlene Montgomery of Olive, OK, sisters Patsy Jenkins of Choctaw, OK and Sue Warren of Broken Arrow, OK, half-brothers Johnnie Lee of Tulsa, Rick Cirivello of CA, and Don Blannsett of CA; 10 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eldon Burch;  sons, John Burch and Eddie Burch.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021  at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, 800 S. Linwood, Cushing, OK.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Glencoe I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Glencoe, Oklahoma.
