Darlene Berniece Grace

November 18, 1933 – January 16, 2024

Darlene Berniece Grace passed away on January 16, 2024.  She was born November 18, 1933, in Burlingame, Kansas to Danny Sherrin and Bessie Bartee Sherrin. She worked in the First Baptist Church nursery for 30 years as supervisor for most of that time.  She was active at the senior center in Cushing after retirement and enjoyed visiting with her caregivers in the past few years.

Darlene is survived by her daughter Marsha Grace and her son Danny Grace.  She has four grandchildren, Jeremy Grace of Katy Texas, Cristina Borow of Pacific Palisades California, Stephanie Grace of Garland Texas, and Jeff Grace of Pacific Palisades, and four great-grandchildren Elyse and Cristian Grace of Katy, Texas and Lucy and Lila Borow of Pacific Palisades, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Grace, a very good friend James Moon, as well as her brother Charles Sherrin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park.
