In Loving Memory of David Lee Alston Jr.

David Lee Alston Jr., 43, of Bakersfield, California, passed away on August 26, 2026.

David was a loving father and family man who enjoyed cooking, watching football and basketball, and, most of all, cooking for his family. He will be remembered for the love he shared with those closest to him and the memories he created with his family.

David was preceded in death by his beloved son, Asher Lee Alston; his grandparents, Nora Cotton and Robert Juarez; and his father, David Lee Alston Sr.

David is survived by his sons, Elijah Alston and Kadin Prather; his mother, Anita Manny; his brothers, Mikey Alston, Anthony Alston, and Josh Yarbrough; his sisters, Shawna Alston and Amber Yarbrough; and his beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Tryon Cemetery off Hwy 105 in Tryon, Oklahoma.

Arrangement have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

David will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and loved ones.
