David Lee Cox, a longtime resident of Cushing, OK, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was 50 years old. Family services to be held at a later date.

David was born on June 26, 1970 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Harlan and Rosie (Ramsey) Cox. He grew up in Cushing and graduated from Cushing High School in 1988. David attended MidAmerica Nazarene University in Kansas playing football and baseball. After college, he went on to work numerous jobs such as Quikset, Mercury, and World Color Press. David enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and anything that had to with yard work. He loved spending time with his family, children, and especially his grandchildren.

David is survived by his life partner and best friend Rhonda Cox, children Joshua Cox and wife Savannah of San Diego, CA, Elizabeth Cox of Stroud, OK, Sarah Davidson and husband Brad of Perkins, OK, Rachel Gulbranson and husband Jeremy of Avoca, AR, his brother Dale Cox and wife Billie of Wagoner, OK, grandchildren Landyn, Preston, Greyson, Brandon, Kimberlyn, Gypsy, Adeline and Eleanor, and numerous other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous other family members.
