David Michael Hunsucker, longtime Cushing resident passed from this life on April 8, 2023, at his home with his family by his side.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. Private services will be held at a later date.

David was born on June 1, 1952, to Mary (Bryant) and Davis Hunsucker in Ada, OK. David grew up all around Oklahoma and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1970. After high school, David attended Oklahoma State. While at school, David met the love of his life, Diann. He was a true gentleman, walking her to all her classes. They married on November 29, 1975, at the Bennett Chapel at OSU. Together they were blessed with two loving boys, Michael and Lucas.

David was a hard-working man, always striving to find something better for him and his family. While away from work, David enjoyed fishing or spending time with his family at the house.

David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all.

David is preceded in death by his father, Davis Hunsucker.

David is survived by his wife, Diann; oldest son, Michael Hunsucker and wife, Sarah, and their children Clara and Amelia; youngest son Lucas Hunsucker and wife, Chelsea; his mother, Mary Park and husband, Robert; two siblings, Betsy Tucker, Scott Hunsucker and wife, Tammie.
