Debbie Reimer Hixson, a longtime Yale resident, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 62.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 14, 2021 at Yale Assembly of God in Yale, Oklahoma. Pastor Mich Dershem will officiate and eulogy will be delivered by longtime friend, Wilma Ausbrook. Interment will follow at Lawson Cemetery, Yale, Oklahoma.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Oklahoma.

Debbie was born on January 12, 1959 in Yale, Oklahoma to the late Don and Bessie Jane (Thomas) Reimer. Debbie grew up in Yale, graduating from Yale High School in 1977. She married the love of her life Clint Hixson on September 21, 1984 in Stillwater, Oklahoma and from their love Chelsea and Caitlin were born. She worked for OSU Vo-tech for several years and then worked as a teacher's assistant while the girls were in grade school, keeping a close eye on their education. She later began working for SpiritBank in Drumright as a bank processor, moved to Payne County Bank for 8 years and then to RCB Bank in Drumright around a year ago. She and Clint are members of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Yale. She enjoyed traveling the US and abroad, gardening, hobby projects and celebrating every holiday with family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, enjoying every minute with them. Debbie cherished making memories with her family and dear friends. She had a special way of making people feel loved and how to bring a ray of sunshine into anyone's day. She will always be remembered for giving the best hugs.

Debbie is survived by her husband Clint, daughters Chelsea Hixson and Michael Tinsley of Oklahoma City, Caitlin Hixson-White and Albert of Cushing, brother Greg Reimer of New Smyrna Beach, Fl., grandchildren Piper Diane White and Remy White, niece and nephew Sam and Sydney Reimer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
