Delila May Moore passed from this life on July 14, 2022, at the age of 83.  Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OK.

Delila was born on October 2, 1938, to Jesse and Lucielle Lewis in Maramac, Oklahoma.  She went to school primarily in Yale.  Soon after graduation she married John Dennis Sr in 1956.  To this union were born two children, John Dennis Jr and Melody Ann Dennis-Blair.  Delila married August Lindeberg and to this union, she had three more children, Sherry Lindeberg, Edward Lindeberg and Angela Laznik-Gordon.

Delila spent many years as a certified insurance representative.  However, her greatest loves were her family, cooking for Meals on Wheels, being a site manager for a senior meals program in Stillwater and working at the First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughters Melody Ann Dennis-Blair and Sherry Lindeberg; brothers Howard Lewis and Henry Lewis; and sister Jessie Condee.

She is survived by her children, John Dennis Jr and wife Karen, Edward Lindeberg and Angela Laznik-Gordon and husband Bill; siblings Mary Grubb and husband Toby, Elizabeth Thomison and Brenda Bryer.  Eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Yale, OK with Pastor Barry Richards officiating.
