Dennis Murch, 68, of Agra, OK passed from this life on February 19, 2022, at his home. He was born on May 29, 1953, in Visalia, California to parents Harvey and Gladys (Overacker) Murch.

Dennis married the love of his life, Sis. Janet Northrup on February 9, 1974, in Tulare, CA. Their union was blessed with three daughters, Mechelle, Renee, and Teshea. He was baptized on November 29, 1975, in Alturas, California into The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn by his grandfather Bro. Dow Overacker. They moved many times between California, Oregon, and Colorado before settling in the Tryon/Agra, Oklahoma area. Dennis primarily worked as a trim carpenter but also had many adventures working as a professional lumberjack.

Dennis is preceded in death by his wife Janet; his parents; his son-in-law Jacob Bocook; 3 sisters, Linda Murch, Vicki LaRue, Carol Stevens; brother, Jerry Murch; sister-in-law Tonya Murch; brother-in-law Bud Stevens; mother and father-in-law, Lloyd and Geneva Northrup, and many other friends and loved ones.

Dennis is survived by three daughters, Mechelle Lugard and Husband, Tony of Montrose, CO, Renee Bocook of Tryon, OK, and Teshea Retherford and husband, Carl of Sapulpa, OK.; two brothers, Charles Murch and wife Delores of Visalia, CA, Gary Murch and wife Judy of Cushing, OK; one sister, Judy Ward and husband Randy of Sapulpa, OK; brother-in-law, Jim LaRue and wife Shanda of Montrose, CO; grandchildren, Angelica Hackett, Alora Retherford, Koal Retherford, Brittany and husband Clayton Taylor, Jessa Retherford, Cade and wife Makayla Lugard, Shayla and husband Chase Godwin, Conner Lugard, Jacob Bocook, Alexandrea Bocook, Victoria Bocook, Malcom Bocook, Veronica Bocook, and Dylan Bocook; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Parkland, Oklahoma. Due to weather, services will conclude at the church without a graveside committal at Parkland Cemetery.
