Dianna Louise Travis Kizer, longtime Oilton resident, passed from this life on Monday, October 25, 2021, with family by her side.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at New Life Ministries, formerly known as Oilton Christ Fellowship. Interment will follow at Jennings Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Oilton.
Dianna was born on March 6, 1947, to Claude and Louise (Swoap) Staley, Jr. in Cushing, OK. She grew up and attended school in Oilton, graduating from Oilton High School in 1965. During school, Dianna was active in sports, including basketball and volleyball. She continued playing those sports throughout her life.
Dianna had many jobs in her life, in which she excelled. Some of them included, Dalton Precision, Hudson Refinery, and even a meter maid for the City of Cushing. While away from work, Dianna could always find something to do. She loved to fish, woodwork, garden, and paint. Everything Dianna did, she excelled and mastered. She was a "Jack of Trades"!
Dianna loved spending time with her family, especially during Christmas time. She loved spoiling her kids and grandkids and was affectionately known to them as Neenie. Her heart was full when family was around. Dianna married James Kizer in 2006.
Dianna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all.
Dianna is preceded in death by her parents, Claude "Bill" T. Staley, Jr and Louise Mae (Swoap) Staley.
Dianna is survived by her husband, James Wayne Kizer; two sisters, Claudia Stallard and Deborah Elrod; two children, Paul Travis and wife, Shelley, Kristie McCrackin and husband, Jeremy; grandchildren, Paul Travis Jr. and wife, Bonnie, Jordan Travis and wife, Jordan, Kelley Ely and husband, Tal, Garrett McCrackin and wife Kelsey; great grandchildren, Amalthea Travis and Kascen McCrackin
