Obituary

Dolores Mae Palmer passed from this life on September 7, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Dolores was born on April 11, 1950, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Thomas and Angeline (Natale) Goldino.  She grew up in Pontiac, Michigan where she also graduated in 1968.  Soon after graduation, she married Gerald Palmer in that same year.  To their union were born three children: Jeffrey, Jennifer and John.

Dolores worked in culinary arts where she began a culinary business called Medieval Feast Business which was a precursor to Renaissance Festivals.  After years in the culinary arts, Dolores began her career in the healthcare industry where she enjoyed getting to be around people and provide a helping hand to all those she was around.  When Dolores wasn't cooking, helping others or caring for her children, she enjoyed theater production and stage plays at the local community theater.  Dolores was also proud of being a volunteer member of Casa which was an organization that helped to reunite children with their mothers.

Dolores moved to Oklahoma in the late 90's so she could be closer to her family.  While in Oklahoma, she was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Stillwater.  Dolores was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jeffrey Palmer, and her son-in-law Dennis Rymarz.

She is survived by her children Jennifer Rymarz and John Palmer; grandchildren, Kory Palmer, Brittany Rymarz, Jordan Moskos, Jordan Palmer and Jenna Palmer; great-grandchild Sharline Palmer and her best friend for decades, Maggie Heineman and many other lifelong friends.

A visitation for Dolores will be from 1pm-7pm on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perkins, Oklahoma.  Memorial services will be at 11am on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Mehan Union Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
