Donna Jean
Mahon
February 21, 1945 – May 5, 2025
Donna Jean Mahon, a cherished soul known affectionately as Donna to her friends and family, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on May 5, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on February 21, 1945, in Tulsa, Donna's life was a tapestry of love, creativity, and joy that she shared generously with all who knew her. Her final days were spent in the warmth of her home in Cushing, surrounded by the love of her family.
Donna's journey through life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron Mahon, with whom she built a life full of laughter and cherished moments. The legacy of her kind spirit lives on through her four children, Clint, Jason, Melissa, and Mitch, and her adored grandchildren, Shawna, Heather, and Clinton. She was predeceased by her great-grandchild, Rayne, who was a precious light in her life.
Throughout her life, Donna embraced the role of a homemaker with grace and enthusiasm. She created a warm and inviting home where all were welcome. Her creativity shone brightly in her paintings and the festive decorations that adorned her home for every holiday. Donna's artistic touch brought beauty and a sense of celebration to the everyday.
Donna's interests extended beyond the walls of her home. She was an avid player of board games and card games, finding joy in the camaraderie and friendly competition they brought. Her love for these games was only matched by her passion for bowling, an activity that kept her active and connected to a community of friends who shared her enthusiasm.
Her favorite joke " Here Duck! Here Duck!" was always a fan favorite! This sentiment was reflected in Donna's approach to life as she embraced each day as an opportunity to create, love, and make memories with those around her.
As we remember Donna, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and joy. Her radiant smile and the laughter that echoed through the halls of her home will be deeply missed, but the impact of her love and the beauty she brought into the world will continue to be felt by all who were blessed to know her.
Donna Jean Mahon's life was a testament to the power of love, creativity, and the simple joys that make life worth living. As we bid her farewell, we take solace in the knowledge that her spirit will forever be a guiding light in the lives of her family and friends.
