Dorothy J Tiger (GE-Gah-Thack), a Saux & Fox Nation tribal elder, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Oklahoma City with her family by her side at the age of 86. Traditional burial will be held at 10:00am, Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Tiger Family Cemetery in Cushing, OK. Wake services will be held on Sunday at the Tiger Family Home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing Oklahoma.

Dorothy was born on September 29, 1934 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to the late Elba and Florence (Conger) Tiger.  She worked and retired from the federal government as an Administrative Assistant.  Dorothy later became a paralegal too.  She was active in the Saux & Fox Nation and was an avid bowler, and powwow dancer for many years.  She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her children, Samuel E Gardipe, Jr and Eva J Gardipe ; grandchildren Samantha E Myres, Jeremiah Smith, MorningStar Jones, Jasmine Fairbanks, Boliver Big Hair, Dustin Bull Bear Gardipe, Palani Bull Bear Gardipe; great grandchildren, Justin and Taylor Hall, Nate and Seth Thalley, Nerissah and Suzanne Gardipe, Araya and Travis Jones, Jr; great-great grandchildren, Aiden, Zane, Xavier, Brooklyn Hall, Daphne Veale; additionally her sisters, Corrine Tsoodle and Yvonne Goodeagle, and countless nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Zacariah Sky Gardipe.
