Edward Stuart Newcity Jr., "Mr. Ed", passed from this life late in the evening on Friday, June 24, 2022, after recently celebrating his 80th birthday with his son, grandchildren, and great granddaughter. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.

Ed was born June 18, 1942, in Tampa, FL to proud parents Edward and Dorothy (Moyse) Newcity. He spent most of his life in the Florida area working at Pepin Distributing as an Anheuser-Busch salesman. Typically, being known as the entertainment of the party, Ed lived an adventurous and full life, never missing out on a good time.

He is survived by his sons Chris Newcity of Oklahoma City, OK and Michael Newcity and significant other Jackie of Sullivan, MO. Three grandchildren, Jeremy Newcity, and wife Ashleigh of Drumright, OK; Morgan Newcity of Oklahoma City, OK; and Hayden Stiles of Agra, OK. Great granddaughter, Ava Newcity of Drumright, OK. Siblings Tom Newcity and wife Diane of Ft Smith, AR; Carol Rhodes and husband Bill of Aster, FL; Bonnie Reale and husband Rich of St Petersburg, FL; and Norman Newcity and wife Cindy of Atlanta, GA.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Steve Newcity, and grandson Justin Newcity.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Osage Cemetery in Agra, OK with Pastor Jeff Kelly presiding.
