Edwina May Deburger, 100, of Cushing, Oklahoma passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the family will be having a private service and burial on Friday, April 22, 2020.

Edwina was born April 16, 1920 in Santa Barbara, California to proud parents Louis and Ethel (Bates) Wilbur. She lived her long life as a faithful servant to Jesus through many highs and lows. She was an absolute prayer warrior and loved to cook and feed people. Edwina showed no respect of persons, she helped everyone without partiality. Her advice was always honest and will be greatly missed by so many who looked to her.

Edwina is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. George C. Deburger; one son James; and one daughter Beverly.

She is survived by her sons, Richard, and Robert, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
