Eleanor Marie Speers- Wesley, 92 of Yuma, passed away in her home on February 16, 2020 in Yuma, Arizona.
She was born on January 22, 1928 in Bronx, New York to Otto and Maria (Jakubecz) Bagemihl. She was a Farmer/Rancher and homemaker. Eleanor received the Master Cattleman Award. She was a member of St. John Neuman Catholic Church in Yuma, Arizona. Some of her hobbies were spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and playing cards and dice games with family and friends. She was also an avid reader.
Eleanor is survived by her husband: William A. Wesley, son Stephen (Dirce) Speers, daughters Jean (J.G.) Thomas and Susan (Carl) Baker, step children, Alice, Tom, Richard, Ruby, Alvy Jr. and Richard, 15 great grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, and 2 nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Her late husband Alvy, brother Frederick, sister-in-law Anne, step-son Lawrence, son-in-law Louis McClain, daughter-in-law Louise Speers and daughter-in-law Tina Speers.
A special thanks to Hospice Compassus and Encompass Home Health Care. A very special thank you to her caregiver Erika Hoffman.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at Lawson Cemetery, Yale, Ok.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.
