Emma "Jerry" Geraldine Thomas, of Perkins formerly of Yale, died on Monday, February 1, 2021 at her home in Perkins with her family by her side at the age of 81.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Yale.  Brother Mich Dershem and Brother Barry Richards will officiate.  Interment will follow at Lawson Cemetery, Yale, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Marler Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Jerry was born on March 10, 1939 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to the late Lon and Virginia Florence (Hennan) Heath.    She grew up in Yale, graduating from Yale High School in 1957.     Jerry made her home in Yale where she attended the First Baptist Church.  She married the love of her life Arlie Thomas on July 20, 1973 in Yale.  To this union Leslie Arlie Thomas Jr. was born and Arlie gained  bonus children Greg and Kristy.    Jerry loved her grandchildren, they were the love of her life.    She enjoyed reading, music, traveling to Branson and Nashville as well as watching Westerns.   Her favorite color was lavender.

Jerry is survived by her husband Arlie of the home, children Kristy Durham and husband Howard of Edmond, Leslie Arlie Thomas Jr. of Stillwater, daughter-in-law Cathy Amey of Morrison, brother Bob Heath and wife Becky of Lubbock, Tx., grandchildren Brandon Clawson, Dustin Clawson, Seth Durham, Hannah Garner and husband Nathaniel, Emmaly Durham and Logan Arlie Thomas, and several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Jerry is preceded in death by her parents, son Greg Amey, sister Wylene Angus, brothers Jack Heath, Melvin Heath and Dud Heath.
