Estella Colleen (Reece) Hart passed away on the morning of October 31, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Colleen was born on November 10, 1932, to Lonnie and Omah (Hankins) Reece. At four years old, Colleen started school at Pleasant Vale, later attending Forrest Home, prior to the school consolidating with Yale Schools. She graduated from Yale in 1949 at the age of 16. After graduation, Colleen spent a year training as a nurse at the Yale Hospital.

Colleen married the love of her life, Bob Hart, on July 1, 1950, in Drumright, Oklahoma. Five children were born to this union, Randy, Debi, Rick, David, and Tom. For work, they traveled for several years before settling in Tulsa to raise their family. There, they owned and operated a beauty shop and barber shop.

In 1969, Bob and Colleen moved their family to Yale, Oklahoma where they lived for the remainder of their lives. Colleen was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, granny, and sister. Her family was her top priority. Colleen loved music and enjoyed playing the piano while singing with her family.

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Omah; her husband, Bob, and her daughter, Debi (Hart) Reece.

Colleen is survived by her sons, Randy Hart and wife Linda, Rick Hart and wife Sherry, David Hart, Tom Hart, and son-in-law Bill Reece, all of Yale; sisters, Geneva Clawson of Stillwater and Kathryn Strader of Yale; brother L.D. Reece and wife Kathy of Yale; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, plus many more family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022. Graveside services will be at Lawson Cemetery in Yale, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022.
