We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Freda Howard, who was born on May 23, 1945, in Pocasset, Oklahoma. She peacefully left this world on September 29, 2024.

Freda was the beloved daughter of Alvah and Dorthy Hutchinson. She was the loving wife of Jimmy Howard, whom she married in 1965. Together, they had one daughter, Leanna Howard. Freda was also a proud grandmother to one grandchild Johnny Graves and one great grandchild, Taytum Graves.

Aside from her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother and GiGiMa, Freda had a passion for quilt making and ceramics. She poured her heart and soul into these hobbies, creating beautiful pieces that will always be cherished by those who knew her.

Freda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.

Freda is proceeded in death by her parents Alvah (son) Hutchinson & mother Dorthy Hutchinson, daughter Leanna Howard and grandson Emmitt Graves, sister Winnie Payton & her husband Chuck Payton, sister Reada  Thompson & her husband Mike Thompson, sister Jean Aldridge & her husband Ray Aldridge, Brother AM Jr (Pete) Hutchinson & his wife Virginia Hutchinson, Sister Modenia Shoffit & her husband Howard Shoffit.

Freda is survived by husband Jimmy Howard, grandson Johnny Graves and his wife Emily Graves, great granddaughter Taytum Graves, sister Caroline Bromlow and her husband Les Bromlow & family, sister Linda Dings & family, brother Walter Hutchinson & family, brother Arthur Hutchinson and his wife Darlene Hutchinson & family, brother Raymond Hutchinson & family, brother David Hutchinson & family and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

A celebration of Freda's life will be held at Parkland Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 4th, 2024.
