Gabriela Marie Ross passed from this life too soon on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the age of 21.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 the family will be holding a private family service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Gabriela was born on May 3, 1998 to William "Frank" and Michele Antoinette (Gross) Ross in Stillwater, OK. She grew up and attended school in Yale. While in school, Gabriela was a superb athlete, especially in softball. She played on the 14 and under team, known as the "Mean Green". That same team played a tournament in Del City with only 7 teammates taking two outs per rotation. They ended up winning the tournament with the odds against them. When she was off the field, you could find Gabriela drawing, writing, or listening to music.

Gabriela had a huge heart. She loved to help people and dogs any way she knew how. She loved to spend time with her family either at their house or floating down the Illinois River. Her greatest achievement in life is when she became a mother to Liam. She would do anything for him.

Gabriela was a kindhearted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Gabriela is survived by both parents, William Franklin and Michele (Gross) Ross; one son, Liam Ross; three sisters, Annie Ross, Heather Jo Weldon, and Monique DeShazier. Gabriela is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a great niece.

Gabriela is preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, and one uncle, Clifford Ross.
