Gaylord Robert "Bob" Aitken, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at his home in Cushing at the age of 76.    No services to be held at this time.

Bob was born on August 8, 1943 in Wendell, Idaho to the late John and Alice (Hall) Aitken.  He grew up and graduated from Gooden High School in Idaho.  He married the love of his life Kathryn Allard on March 4, 1978 in Cushing.   Bob and his wife Kathryn drove a truck cross country for all of their married life, traveling all over the United States.  He won numerous awards in the trucking business, the Million Mile Club and Driver of the year.  Bob enjoyed wood working, gardening and was an avid reader.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn of the home, daughters Jeanette Kite and Shannon Stromberg, sister Margaret Presnell of Wendell, Idaho.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
