Obituary

Harry Lee Ingram, 98, of Cushing, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 3, 2026, on Good Friday.

He was born on August 9, 1927, in Spivey, Kansas, to James Thomas Ingram and Clara VanArsdale Ingram. He graduated from Kingman High School in Kingman, Kansas and, upon graduation, enlisted in the United States Navy.

Harry was a proud World War II Navy veteran who served his country with honor. After his military service, he began his career at Schlumberger oil and gas corporation. Following early retirement, he started a new chapter as the golf course superintendent at Cushing Country Club, where he faithfully served for 25 years before retiring.

He will be remembered for his strong faith in God and as a pillar of Park Place Baptist Church in Cushing, Oklahoma. He loved his family and friends deeply and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Tima Ingram Hubbard, James Thomas Ingram, and Connie Jo Hancock, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by many loved ones, including his beloved wife of 70 years, Betty Powell Ingram, and daughter, Shirley Ann Raibourn.

Harry's legacy of love, service, and unwavering faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We find comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." — 2 Corinthians 5:8

"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
