Heather Marie King passed from her life on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 42.

Heather was born August 17, 1981 in Drumright, OK to Willie and Gina (Alsip) Snell. Heather grew up in Yale, OK, with her parents. Heather was their only child, their "little girl", and the light of their lives. She loved vacationing with her mom and checking the oil wells with her daddy. Heather graduated from Oilton, OK, in 1999.

Heather met and fell in love with her soulmate, Chad King, and they were married in Stillwater on February 14, 2000. They enjoyed many years together traveling, praising God, and taking Taekwondo classes.

Even though Heather had many great losses in the past few years (her daughter, mother, husband, and father) she was still positive and loved her lord and savior. She was such a caring person who always put everyone else first. She loved children so much. She recently started teaching children's church at Sunday school and she loved spending time with the kids in her family.

Heather loved buying plants and shopping but what she loved most of all was animals. She couldn't turn a stray away. She took such great care of her animals, treating them like her children.

Heather was the best at giving advice (even the kind that you didn't want to hear). She truly loved and cared about everyone. She brought so much love and light to the room despite all of her losses.

Heather is survived by her grandparents Denton and Cowetta Alsip, Aunt Tammy and Uncle Bill Boundy, Uncle Louis and Aunt Jeannie Snell, Cousin Lacey Boundy, Mike Farthing and their daughter Hadley, Melissa Franklin and children Conklin Ramsey, Lucien Rico, Anita Rico, and Adrian Rico, cousin Kristy Snell Greene and family, brother-in-law J.C. King, cousin Sherry Donaldson, Freda Bartley and many other friends and family.

Heather was preceded in death by her daughter Mercy Grace King, husband Chad King, mother Regina Snell, father Willie Snell, grandparents William Earl Snell and Ida Alice Snell, and Aunt Lois Ann Bartley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Drumright, OK.  A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.
