Jack Lee Fick Jr.

Jack Lee Fick, Jr., was born on Tuesday, September 7, 1954, to Jack Lee Fick Sr. and Betty June Reedy Fick in a small 4-bedroom white block house built by his dad.

As a young boy, Jack loved going to the hay field with his dad. It was there that he was taught to be a hard worker. He cared for 60 head of cattle on their family farm. His older brother, Larry, would pay him to do his chores.

On October 19, 1969, Jack was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn by Brother Danny Smith at the Parkland Gin Pond.

Jack attended Agra Public Schools. While in high school, he loved driving his 1967 Mercury Montego MX 2 door that was red with a black top. He bought this car for $350 which would be worth about $35,000 today. In his senior year (Class of 1972), he met the love of his life, Rebecca Jo Coleman. After 3 months of dating, he proposed. They were married on June 30, 1972, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

In 1973, born to them was a set of twin girls, Rorrie Lee and Stacy Gayle. Two and a half years later they were blessed with a 2nd set of twins, Brad Kyle Lee and Stephanie Nicole. They became a unique family. At this time, Jack took a job with Lloyd Helm Dairy and the family lived on the farm. Becky had to learn to live on a very small budget. In 1980, they built a home where their children were raised. Many days of love, laughter and joyous moments were created in their little kitchen.

In the fall of 1981, Jack began his surveying career, devoting 39 years to Topographic Engineering. Jack and Becky were married for 52 years.

Jack was known by many for his great love for the Lord. He had a genuine care for helping others. He was a faithful servant and had a gift for taking time to visit on the Word with young people. He truly loved God’s creation. He was an honorable man that stood with a reputable name. He was a wonderful husband, loving father, and also known as “Papa Jack”. He found joy serving on the Agra School Board and the Parkland Cemetery Board for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Agra and was deeply immersed in the community.

Preceding him in death is his wife, Becky; his son, Brad Fick; father, Jack Fick Sr.; mother, Betty Fick; 2 brothers, Larry and Terry Fick; 1 sister, LaVeta Fick; his grandparents.

He leaves behind 3 daughters, Rorrie Wright and husband Jesse of Cushing, OK, Stacy Godwin and husband Kevin of Sapulpa, OK, Stephanie Ellis and husband, Jamie of Indianapolis, IN; daughter-in-law, Billie Fick of Tryon, OK; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren; sisters, Marsha Laxton and husband, Lenny of Agra, OK, Teresa Allen and husband, David of Tryon, OK, Lesia Fick of Agra, OK, plus many beloved family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Parkland, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Parkland Cemetery immediately following.
