Jackie Dale Kelly, longtime Cushing resident passed peacefully from this life on February 27, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Jackie was born October 8, 1942 to parents Jack and Naomi Kelly (Cooper) in Cushing, Oklahoma.  He grew up on the family farm attending school in Cushing.  As many do, he would go to work for the pipeline until having a family and settling down.  He married Alma Lou Turner and to this union three boys were born, Phillip, Blaine, and William.  Later in life Jackie would be blessed to have more children in his life, Stacy, Kim, and Brooke.  Jackie was a known horse trainer and it was one of his greatest passions.  He operated multiple businesses in the Cushing are and later in life was active at the Senior Citizen's Center delivering meals to others.  Above all Jackie was proud of his family.

Jackie is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children; Phillip Kelly and wife Narcissus of Cushing, Blaine Kelly and wife Cheryl of Cushing, William Kelly and wife Teresa of Mannford, Stacy Starns and wife Sonja of Oklahoma City, Kim Mills of Cushing, and Brook Kelly of Florida; sisters, Pat Williams and husband Fred, and Vickie Wenger; one aunt, Alice McClary and husband Wayne; nine grandkids, and 18 great grandkids.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Scott Harper for caring for Dad the last few years.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.
