It is with great sadness we share that James Lee Elliott passed away on October 3, 2024.

He was a beloved father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather to his family.  He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

James was a lifelong Yale resident, avid outdoorsman and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Elliott, who we lost in 2020. They are now united again…forever.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Catherine Elliott, and sister, Barber Hilderbrand.

He is survived by his two sons, Lee Elliott and wife Michelle of Yale and Patrick Elliott, also of Yale; grandsons, Cade Durham and his wife, Justice of Cushing, Cale Elliott of Cushing, Ezekiel Elliott and wife Madison of Perkins, Gunner Elliott of Blanchard, Michael Legge and fiancé Alana Bertram of Oklahoma City, and Nick Smith and Sagia Perkins of Morrison; three great grandchildren, Asher Durham and Everlee and Noel Legge.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that everyone just spend a little quality time with those closest, take a kid fishing and take a moment to enjoy a sunset…live life, love those around you and cherish every moment.
