Janet Arlene Cayot, longtime Cushing resident passed from this life on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Tulsa, OK surrounded by family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

The family will be holding a memorial service on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Cushing Nazarene Church, 116 E. Maple St. Cushing, OK 74023.
Janet was born on November 22, 1951 to Franklin and Tillie (Jantzen) Cayot in Enid, OK. Her family moved to Blackwell, Lindsay, and Cushing. She attended and graduated from Cushing High School in 1969. After school, Janet was an active member in the Stillwater Gem and Mineral Society. She loved to stay inside crocheting and reading. During the summer, Janet and her mother would travel all around the United States site seeing.

Janet was a loving and caring sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Janet is preceded in death by both parents, one brother, Lon Dewayne Cayot. She is survived by two brothers, Leslie Cayot and wife, Terrie, and Jerry Cayot; two nieces, Heather Hardman and husband, Josh, and Marisa DeLuzio and husband, Justin; one nephew, Lonnie D. Cayot; two great nephews, Jayden Hardman and Jaxon Hardman; one great niece, Stephanie Cayot.
