Janice Frances Leathem Clift passed from this life on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Linwood Nursing Home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020, in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park in Cushing.  Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Janice Frances Leathem was born on May 25, 1935, to James Francis and Marion Leathem in Camden, New Jersey.  Janice grew up and attended school in Camden, New Jersey.  After school, in 1954, Janice married the love of her life, Robert Eugene Clift, Sr. in Camden, NJ.  They had five loving children: Patricia, Robert, David, Timothy, and Michael.  Janice and her family lived in many states through her lifetime, including Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Idaho, and Oklahoma.  Janice had several jobs during her life, the most recent was at Wal-Mart in Cushing where she worked for many years before she retired.

Janice was an avid seamstress and made clothes, time out dolls, and quilts.  She loved to work in her yard and when she was able you could find her most days outside working in her flowerbeds.  She also enjoyed reading, watching game shows and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Janice is preceded in death by both parents, James and Marion Leathem, her husband Robert, her brothers, John and Jim Leathem, and sister, Marion.

Janice is survived by her five children, Patricia Honeycutt, Robert Clift Jr., David Clift, Timothy Clift, and Michael Clift; ten grandchildren, Becky Honeycutt Reichert, Michael Honeycutt, Anne Marie Honeycutt Thomas, Ami Clift Weisiger, Adam Clift, Heather Clift, Elizabeth Clift Wright, Matthew Clift, Emma Clift, and Sam Clift; nine great grandchildren, Mia, Cooper, Alli, Jay, Lydia, Bentley, Alexander, Claire, and Knox; and two sisters Edna Pumphrey and Ethel McDoughty.
