Janice Gayle Wells passed from this life on June 20, 2023, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years.  Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Janice was born on February 10, 1936, to Grady and Lois (Hart) Brown in Yale, Oklahoma.  Janice grew up in Yale where she also graduated.  She married Dan Wells Sr. and to their union were born three sons: Dan, Brue and Jay.

Janice's mother was a choir leader in the church which created the love of singing that she had.  She enjoyed singing in the church choir and even singing in their home.  She had a loving nature and loved raising her family and taking care of them any way she could.  As she grew older, he enjoyed going on cruises.  She will be greatly missed.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dan Wells Sr., her brother Don Brown and her son Dan Wells.

She is survived by her sons Brue and Jay Wells, grandchildren Tiffany, Chealsea, Haily and Josh; great grandchildren Vivi Rose and Walton along with Ronda and Deidre Delosangeles who Janice called her daughter and granddaughter.
