Janie Victoria Lichtenberger, a longtime Yale resident, passed away on Friday morning, February 11, 2022 in Tulsa.  Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 16, at the Yale Assembly of God.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Ok.

Janie was born on November 9, 1960 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to the late Wesley and Naomi (Blackwell) Wikel.  She grew up in Quay then moved to Sand Springs and attended Charles Paige.  Janie owned a All Pretty Pets in Sand Springs for a number of years then moved to Yale in 1996 to raise her family.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and quilting.  Janie loved being with her family.  Going to the Good Will and Thrift store with her sister was the highlight of the week.

Janie is survived by her son Jeff O'Dell and wife Izzy of Cushing, daughters Whitney Chandler and husband Eric of Yale, Kaitlin Lichtenberger of Yale, siblings Phyllis Glasby and husband George of Quay, Nancy Moore and husband Charlie of Quay, Karen Allen of Cushing, grandchildren Candice O'Dell, Dominic O'Dell, Rhu O'Dell, Lily O'Dell, Henry O'Dell, Liam Chandler and Tripp Lichtenberger and numerous other family and friends.

Janie was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Dale Wikel, Cecil Wikel, Bert Wikel and Linda Glasby.
