Jeremy Scott Moore, 55 years of age, of Cushing, Oklahoma passed away on 12th October of 2026. Jeremy was born on October 25th, 1970, in Kremling, Colorado to Lanny and Lynn Moore. He was always proud to have been born a “Mountain Man.” After graduating high school, Jeremy enlisted in the U.S. Army and honorably served his country. While raising a young family, Jeremy attended Northeastern State University’s Tulsa Campus to earn his Masters in English.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Lynn Moore. He is survived by his three children, Andrea Baynemoore, Cynthia Hagan, & Alex Butler and his five grandchildren: Xanthus, Nyx, Nouva, little Cyndi, and Alaric. He is also survived by his father, Lanny Moore, and two Brothers, Lanny Moore Jr. and Adam Moore as well as his treasured Nieces that he was like a father to.

Jeremy was an avid reader and aspiring writer, instilling the importance of education in his children. A lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy, he was a long-time collector of everything that interested him, often sharing his passions with those who he cherished. Jeremy will be remembered for his generosity, love for his family, and dedication to his friends.

Celebration of Life services will take place at The American Legion Post 108 (214 S. Noble Avenue, Cushing, OK 74023) on the 31st of October 2026 at 11:00 a.m. As Jeremy was a steadfast supporter of veterans and democratic causes across the globe, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Legion in Cushing, Stop Solider Suicide, Boulder Crest Foundation, or Gary Sinise Foundation.
