Jerry Gene Huff, age 70, of Yale, Oklahoma went to his new home in Heaven, Thursday evening, January 14, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Yale and will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in the First Baptist Church in Yale with Dr. Grant Wyse officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in the Lawson Cemetery at Yale, Oklahoma.

Mr. Huff was born on July 5, 1939 in Olive, Oklahoma and was the son of Neeley and Hazel (Chandler) Huff. He grew up in Olive and graduated from Olive High School in 1957. He served in the United States Army 45th Airborne during the Korean Conflict. On September 18, 1959 he was united in marriage to Wanda Ledbetter. He owned numerous businesses in Yale during his life including restaurants, clothing stores, gas stations, pawn shops, pressure washer co. and an antique store. He owned J. & W. Testing Company from 1984 until 1995 when he sold it to his son. He operated Jerry's Auto Service in Oilton. After retirement he sold pecans, tomatoes and operated a lawn service. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church. He loved singing with the quartet. Jerry enjoyed golfing, classic cars, cooking and entertaining. He also enjoyed decorating for every season.

Jerry is survived by two sons, Jerry Allen and wife Tammy Huff of Yale, Ryan Huff of Tulsa; one daughter Frankie Moniz and husband Stephen, Vacaville, California; grandchildren, Tori and Lexi Huff, William Huff, Sue Ellen Lacy, Andrew Near and Nicole Near, Special Friend, Aleta Arvieux; two Sisters, Joann Null of Oilton and Betty Poole and husband Alfred of Meridian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda on May 4, 1995, brothers, Glenn and Clyde, sisters, Ruth Mitchell, Evelyn Odle, Opal Brandon and a brother-in-law, Bill Null.
