Joanna Marie Rossiter passed from this life on July 29, 2024, at her home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family.

Joanna was born on February 18, 1960, to Edwin and Joan (Huntley) Brock in Topeka, Kansas. She moved to McKinleyville, California where she met her husband, Roy. Roy and Joanna were married on August 3, 1979, in McKinleyville, California.  Later, they moved to Oklahoma for a short time before finally settling in Wichita, Kansas, where they lived until Roy passed away.

Joanna and Roy had three daughters, Tonya, Melinda and Cassandra.  Her children were the light of her life and brought her great joy.  She loved spending time with her daughters, God and singing.  She also enjoyed playing board games and being with her church sisters and with all the brethren.

After Roy's passing, Joanna moved to Pink, Oklahoma, so that she could be closer to her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.  She enjoyed taking her grandkids different places and loved nothing more than to spend time with them.  Joanna will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Joanna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, and her daughter Tonya.

She is survived by her daughters Melinda Rossiter of Wichita, Kansas and Cassandra Miller and husband Jake of Tecumseh, OK; grandchildren Faithann Johnson, Travis Miller and one great grandchild Presley; brothers Larry, and Jimmey Brock; sisters Lori, Glenda and Rhonda.

Funeral services for Joanna will be at 2PM on Friday, August 2, at The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing, Oklahoma.  Interment will be at Parkland Cemetery immediately following.
